Steve Shergold

Director and Principal Consultant
Steve founded TTA 16 years ago as a company that could provide vendor independent professional services to companies wishing to expand into international markets. Steve has over 25 years experience in the industry starting initially as an engineer and then progressing to sales, marketing and business development roles. Over the last 13 years Steve has specialised in the promotion and development of principally North American IT companies to initiate their businesses in Europe. These services include; devising and implementing PR and marketing campaigns, establishing start-up subsidiaries for parent companies based overseas, sales partnering, and planning and co-ordinating distribution and reseller programmes.

Steve has worked as a consultant for many well known companies including Nortel, Cisco, Swyx and Motorola. Steve has a BSc. In Electronic Engineering and a MBA from Bath University. For Steve's full bio - Click Here

Jane Moores

Director and Principal Account Manager
Jane has over 12 years experience of marketing in the IT sector and has implemented both public relations and marketing campaigns on behalf of clients. With proven copy-writing ability Jane has been responsible for handling press announcements, feature articles, brochures, newsletters, direct mail and advertising. With an established number of journalist contacts in the IT and national press, Jane has gained extensive coverage for a range of IT companies, from product reviews through to feature articles.

As a proven Account Manager Jane has worked for many IT companies including U.S Robotics (3Com), SDX (Northern Telecom), ITK (Telebit), DataTec and Swedish telecoms operator, Telia International. Jane holds a BA (Hons) degree in English from Liverpool University.

Peter Lay

Senior Account Manager
In a sales and marketing career spanning the last twelve years, Peter has scoped, designed, implemented and project managed a variety of direct marketing, sales promotion campaigns and major market research projects for BA, BBC, National Assembly for Wales, Nissan Motor (GB), Walt Disney, GlaxoSmithKline, Reader’s Digest and Canon Europe. For seven years he provided consultative services to a former Pearson owned company, Longman Logotron, (an education software vendor) who publishes and directly sells ‘all in one’ research software called Pinpoint and Keypoint.

Throughout the late nineties and until quite recently he was a member of Nissan’s inter-agency customer relationship management strategy team. He begun an early freelance career in local radio reporting (BBC Radio Oxford), while reading for a degree in Education and Geography at Oxford Brookes University, and moved into newspaper management before joining the International Thomson Organisation in a variety of sales and marketing management roles.

 

 

Sally Minchin

Senior Account Manager

 

Sally is one of TTA's leading account managers and over the last 7 years she has worked with many leading edge IT companies organising press tours, products launches and PR campaigns. Sally has developed a specialised knowledge of networking technologies and knows how to position these technologies within specific vertical markets such as retail finance, utilities, education and Government and retail. Sally has developed very close relationships with the journalists and editors within these markets.

Sally has an honours degree from the University of London.
